My first camera was a hand-me-down Kodak Instamatic. It was a Christmas gift when I was nine. The photos I shot with it weren’t all that good, but I would lug it around on family vacations and fill photo albums upon my return. Thank goodness I kept pursuing what would become my passion, and working on my craft…With inspiration from a high school teacher, I picked up a video camera and found another passion.
Those moments led me to Mt. Hood Community College, where I received an Associate of Arts in Television Production and studies in photography. Then onto Pacific University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Religion (I considered combining the two and becoming a TV Evangelist, but that didn’t pan out). Photography and video, with a side stint as a college radio DJ, filled my free time and became a career pursuit. After too many years, I went back to school and received a Master of Educational Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching, from Boise State University.
I am passionate about photography, video, and design. I am a consummate artist and have great pride in every project and venture I take on. My teaching experience includes a wide range of subjects, including photography, digital storytelling, and podcasting. My goal is to help people and organizations share their stories, by providing an authentic view of who they are through a vibrant multimedia experience that enlightens, entertains and educates.
Enough about me...the real question is, how can I help you or your business?
Working with you to tell your story would be a privilege. My rates are reasonable, and I relate well to people...and by the way, I don't use the Kodak Instamatic anymore, just sayin'.
